The name behind the website; the story of Dr. Cordelia Travian is one a friend and I have been working on for well over a decade. It is a feminist reinvention of classic horror monsters, with the intention to be as historically and scientifically accurate as possible. It is a fictional biography told in epistolary fashion, narrated by an urban explorer in the present day, piecing together the mystery of the seemingly long abandoned Victorian girl’s finishing school. Embrace the monstrous feminine.
